Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household management for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Administer medications, drive students to activities, plan recreational events, and lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services. Oversee budgeting and household reporting while ensuring a structured, family-like environment. Initially work a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off, transitioning later to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. This two-person position requires legally married couples with at least two years of marriage, both aged 27 or older, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or GED required
