Job Summary
Two-person married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, residing on campus in a student home caring for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine days on/three days off to a Placed Houseparent assignment living with the same group of students. Relocation package provided; benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement options, paid time off, and on-site housing and meals while on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years married for the couple
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
