Job Summary
Married couples serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on-campus at Milton Hershey School, supervising and mentoring groups of approximately 8–13 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role starts with a nine-on, three-off schedule, with eventual placement into a single student home. Relocation package included and comprehensive benefits are provided. The position requires two spouses who are legally married for at least two years, ages 27 or older, and who will live in on-campus homes while supporting student success.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Residence on-campus in student homes
- Ability to drive student home vans
