Job Summary
Two-person married couple will serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on Milton Hershey School’s campus in Hershey, PA. They reside in on-campus student homes, supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and accompany students to Sunday Chapel. The schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a stable, single student-home assignment. Relocation package provided; salary per person is $44,768 with comprehensive benefits and paid training. The role requires a legally married couple, both spouses aged 27+, and a commitment to a safe, faith-based campus environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Legally married for at least two years (two-person role)
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
Additional Requirements
- Two-person couple must apply separately as a couple-based role
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
