Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent roles residing on an on-campus home to supervise and support 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The position begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle and can transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Requires relocation to Hershey, PA with a relocation package and paid training; valid driver’s license; high school diploma or GED; and eligibility for required certifications. A two-spouse, married couple is required for the role; both spouses must be at least 27 years old and able to carry out duties in a smoke-free, weapon-free campus environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Must be age 27 or older for both spouses
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
