Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, a two-person married-couple role residing in on-campus student homes and supervising 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include relocation assistance, comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, retirement savings, paid time off, and a salary of $44,768 per person (~$168,000 total per couple) plus free housing and meals on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
