Job Summary
Milton Hershey School seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA. Responsibilities include supervising 8–13 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and accompanying Sunday Chapel, and budgeting/reporting. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off duty cycle and progresses to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. This is a two-person, on-campus position requiring both spouses to apply individually.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license or ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Proven integrity and professionalism; ability to serve as role models
- Proximity to or willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA (on-campus housing provided)
