Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School on-campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in student homes serving ~8–13 students, providing supervision, mentorship, daily routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, and active engagement in development and religious activities (daily devotions and Sunday Chapel). Initially nine days on/three off, transitioning to a placed houseparent living with the same group. Relocation package included; comprehensive benefits and housing/ meals on duty. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and be at least 27 years old; both spouses must complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
