Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married-couple role) live on-campus at Milton Hershey School to supervise and guide 8–13 students in a house, providing daily supervision, mentorship, medications administration, and activity planning; duties include driving students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting/household reporting, and transitioning from a rotating 9-on/3-off schedule to a fixed placed houseparent assignment with the same student group; relocation package provided and benefits include comprehensive health, retirement, paid time off, and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Willingness to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in a school environment
- Ability to live and work with the same group of students in a student home
- Two-person role requiring both spouses to apply individually
