Job Summary
House Parent - Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Married couples reside on-campus in student homes (8–13 students per home) and provide care, supervision, mentorship, and support, including administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in development and recreation, leading daily devotions, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Benefits include relocation assistance and comprehensive insurance; salary per person is $44,768 with total compensation per couple around $168,000. Requires experience with youth, on-campus housing responsibilities, and a strong commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth

- Must be able to reside on-campus in a student home
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
