Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students while managing household routines and schedules. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions alongside chapel attendance. Plan and engage in recreational and developmental activities, while overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially support multiple homes on a nine-on, three-off rotation before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke-free, alcohol-free environment. Married couples must be at least 27 years old with no more than three dependent children.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
