Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus at Milton Hershey School, a married couple providing supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of approximately 8–13 students in a student home. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in the same student home. Includes relocation package and comprehensive benefits; requires both spouses to complete individual applications and meet criteria (married for at least two years, both aged 27+, etc.).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to be certified to drive student home vans
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Legally married for at least two years
- Two-person role for couples
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
