Job Summary
Two-person full-time Flex Houseparent team resides in on-campus student homes (approximately 8–13 students per home) to provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, coordinating activities and transportation, leading daily devotions and Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and maintaining a safe, structured home environment. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Relocation assistance provided; includes comprehensive benefits and paid training. Requires experience with youth, a valid U.S. driver’s license, high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Both spouses must apply individually for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
