Job Summary
Two-person married couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. They reside in on-campus student homes, supervising and mentoring a group of approximately 8–13 students, coordinating daily routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, conducting daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and progressing to a placed houseparent role with the same student home. The position includes relocation support and paid training, with a nine-days-on / three-days-off schedule during initial placement and full benefits and housing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couple
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in devotions and chapel
- Willingness to live on campus in on-site homes
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proven integrity and professionalism
