Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role on Milton Hershey School’s campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students, manage routines, medicate as needed, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and oversee budgeting and reporting. Schedule initially involves nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Salary shown per person with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits included; housing and meals provided on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to reside on-campus in a student home
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
