Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in Titusville, FL to care for and supervise 8–13 students in a student home. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits provided; salary is per person with total compensation for the couple listed as approximately $168,000.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married-couple requirement
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
