Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in Hershey, PA to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines, medications, transportation to activities, and lead daily devotions with Chapel attendance. The role starts with a nine-on, three-off duty cycle across various student homes and evolves into a Placed Houseparent in a single student home, with relocation assistance provided and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, budgeting and household reporting, and ensuring student wellness and safety within a structured, family-like on-campus environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to lead students in devotions and Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Two-person job for couples
