Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School. A two-person married couple role in on-campus student homes, responsible for daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement to live with the same group of students in their own home. Includes relocation package and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, HSAs/FSAs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings) and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
