Job Summary
House Parent - Full-time Flex Houseparents relocate to Hershey, PA to reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role. This two-person role requires a legally married couple for at least two years, with both spouses ages 27 or older. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, and paid time off; training provided. Relocation package and on-campus housing are included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse married couples eligible
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
