Job Summary
Two-person married couple will reside on campus as Full-time Flex Houseparents for a group of approximately 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation to activities, and engagement in developmental and religious activities. They will lead daily devotions, accompany students to Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, and transition over time to a placed houseparent role in the same student home. Must have a high school diploma or GED, be legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; benefits include medical/dental/vision, HSAs/FSAs, life and disability options, retirement savings. This on-campus, on-site role requires living with and supervising youth in a faith-based, smoke- and weapon-free environment with dedicated time off between duty cycles.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
