Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for a two-person married-couple role at Milton Hershey School. Partners reside in on-campus student homes, supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Initially nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Includes relocation package and comprehensive benefits (medical/dental/vision, retirement, paid time off) and salary of $44,768 per person (~$168,000 per couple). Requires prior experience with youth and is a two-person, married-couple role requiring both spouses to apply individually.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years married
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Willingness to lead devotions and chapels
- Comfort with on-campus student housing responsibilities
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
