Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent couples reside on on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, providing daily supervision, mentorship, caregiving, and coordination of routines for a group of ~8–13 students. Responsibilities include administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and planning developmental/recreational activities. The role starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, then transitions to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance is provided; benefits include health/dental/vision, retirement options, paid time off, and training.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
