Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes to care for and supervise approximately 8–13 students, providing mentorship, daily routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, and support for academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include budgeting, household reporting, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, planning developmental and recreational activities, and coordinating a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent role with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Couple must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
