Job Summary
House Parent - two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents provide care, supervision, and mentorship for a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with a nine-on / three-off schedule, with eventual transition to a placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Relocation assistance is provided, and compensation includes salary per person with comprehensive benefits and housing. Located in Hershey, PA, at Milton Hershey School; applicants must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must apply individually.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse two-year marriage minimum
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
