Job Summary
Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, supervision, and mentorship for about 813 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting; initially nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same student group; relocation package and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Willingness to lead daily devotions and attend Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
