Job Summary
Two-person House Parent role for Milton Hershey School in Kerrville, TX. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, supervision, and mentorship for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmentally-focused activities, and coordinating budgeting/reporting. Start with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Relocation package and paid training provided; includes comprehensive benefits. Requires married couples with at least two years of marriage, age 27+, high school diploma or GED, and ability to lift 50 lbs; driving certification and on-campus living duties included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
