Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents will reside on campus at Milton Hershey School to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 813 students, provide care and guidance, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition to a placed Houseparent with same student group. Requires couples who are legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, US driver’s license with driving certification for student vans, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a high school diploma or GED. Relocation package and comprehensive benefits are provided.”,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- On-campus housing and residential caregiving experience preferred
- Relocation package provided
