Job Summary
Two-person married couple on-campus Houseparents provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of approximately 8–13 students in a home setting. They manage household routines, supervise student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from nine days on / three days off to a placed houseparent arrangement, residing with the same student group in their own home. The role includes relocation benefits, on-site housing, meals on duty, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year married couple minimum? (two-spouse role)
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
- Proficiency in managing schedules and household routines
