Job Summary
House Parent position for married couples at Milton Hershey School. Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, supervision, and guidance for a group of 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and progress to a Placed Houseparent role. Eight- to thirteen-student homes, nine days on/three days off initially, with relocation package and comprehensive benefits; two-person, on-campus living and supervision with a focus on academic, emotional, and social development of students.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
