Job Summary
Provide daily supervision and mentorship for 8–13 students in on-campus homes while managing household routines, schedules, and budgeting. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions and recreational programming. Initially support various homes on a nine-day-on, three-day-off rotation before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a single group. Maintain a structured, family-like environment supporting academic, emotional, and social development. Requires a legally married couple (2+ years, both 27+) with youth experience, valid driver's license, and ability to lift 50 lbs. No alcohol permitted on duty; only fish and one dog allowed.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
