Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household routine management for 8–13 students in an on-campus home. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions while planning recreational engagement. Oversee budgeting and reporting for the student group. Follow a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off, transitioning eventually to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free, alcohol-free campus. Both spouses must be married for at least two years, be 27 or older, and hold a high school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
