Job Summary
Provide daily supervision and mentorship for 8–13 students in an on-campus student home, managing household routines, schedules, and medication administration. Drive students to activities and lead daily devotions while accompanying them to Sunday Chapel services. Plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, oversee budgeting and household reporting, and ensure student wellness. Work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with unscheduled weekday time while students are in school. Transition to a Placed Houseparent role after initial support. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years, age 27 or older, and hold a valid U.S. driver's license to operate student home vans.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- High level of commitment to student success from both spouses
- Must be available for nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off
- Must be a married couple legally married for at least two years
