Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students while managing household routines, schedules, and medication administration. Drive students to activities, plan recreational engagements, lead devotions, and accompany them to Sunday Chapel. Oversee budgeting and household reporting. Initially support various student homes on a nine-day-on, three-day-off rotation, transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Requires a valid U.S. driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and legal marriage for at least two years.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
