Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and routine management for 8–13 students in an on-campus home. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions and chapel services. Oversee household budgeting, reporting, and recreational planning while ensuring a structured, family-like environment. Work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a dedicated student group. Requires a legally married couple, ages 27 or older, with valid driver's licenses and experience working with youth. Salary is $46,917 per person with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
