Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household routine management for 8–13 students in an on-campus home. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions while planning developmental and recreational engagements. Oversee budgeting and household reporting, ensuring a structured, family-like environment supports student growth. Serve nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, eventually transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a dedicated student group. This two-person position requires married couples with youth experience, a valid driver's license, and commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
