Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household routine management for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions while planning recreational engagement. Oversee budgeting and household reporting during a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off. Transition to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group after initial support. Requires a married couple, both 27+, with youth experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to lift 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
