Job Summary
Perform routine and complex maintenance and repair tasks on buildings, mechanical systems, and equipment to support daily resort operations. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, replacing broken windows, repairing doors and locks, and installing blinds. Troubleshoot and fix electrical components, refrigeration equipment, and plumbing issues such as unclogging toilets and fixing leaks. Assist with renovation projects including drywall repair, plaster work, and painting. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used while following safety protocols and wearing appropriate PPE. Engage in physical activities involving lifting up to 55 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot a wide variety of facility issues
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching
- Can safely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant maintenance or mechanical experience preferred
