Job Summary
Supervise the day-to-day operation of a residential home for individuals with intellectual disabilities, ensuring compliance with regulations and agency standards. Manage direct care staff, including Lead Staff and Direct Support Professionals, by providing supervision, training, and handling disciplinary actions. Coordinate medical services with the delegating nurse, oversee household budgets and petty cash, and ensure accurate completion of incident reports, activity calendars, and medication administration logs. Maintain the residential home and assigned vehicles to ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety while transporting individuals to medical appointments and activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Two years of experience working with persons who have a developmental disability in a group residence
- Experience in a management or supervisory position
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record as determined by criteria established by the Agency's insurance carrier and by Agency policy
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited school in a human services field
