Job Summary
Provides direct supports to individuals with disabilities and serves as trainer and role model to DSPs by assisting with living skills, coordinating transportation, implementing the ISP, and promoting active citizenship in community settings. Supervises direct support staff, assists with hiring/termination input, maintains dietary and medication routines, assists with budgeting and housekeeping, and ensures safety through emergency procedures and adherence to licensing rules. Collaborates with PT/OT/Speech/Nursing and other services to ensure continuity of care, develops meaningful daily curriculum for individuals served, and maintains documentation and records while fostering teamwork and positive interactions among staff, families, and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must be able to obtain an F endorsement for driving privileges.
- Obtain and maintain Medication Certification and annual training and refresher courses.
