Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of assigned group homes, including supervising traditional DD/IDD programs and behavioral staff in certified Adult Family Homes. Develop, maintain, and review Individual Service Plans, Behavioral Support Plans, or Individualized Program Plans while managing household and individual budgets. Partner with families, case managers, and stakeholders on a regular basis, providing thorough orientation to new staff and conducting employee evaluations, investigations, and disciplinary actions as needed. Schedule and lead team meetings, develop employee rosters, and directly train staff in program implementation. This role requires a flexible schedule with on-call rotation including weekends and odd hours. A bachelor's degree and two years of managerial experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Science or related field
- A minimum of 2 years managerial/supervisory experience, including hiring, disciplining, and terminating employees
- At least 1 year of full-time, direct experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities
- A successful background clearance
- A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with auto insurance
