House Manager-- Citizens Residential

Supervise Direct Support staff by assigning responsibilities to encourage resident autonomy. Instruct residents and participate in household tasks like cleaning and cooking to ensure proper nourishment and a safe environment. Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to hire new employees, conduct interviews, and complete personnel documentation. Maintain weekly work schedules, manage resident bank accounts and expenditures, and arrange transportation using the agency vehicle. Confer with physicians and pharmacies to review medical status, and collaborate with day programs to ensure service integration. Document staff performance, attendance, and training needs while ensuring safety procedures are followed. Requires a valid NYS Driver's License, HS Diploma, AMAP certification, and at least two years of experience working with the IDD population.
