Job Summary
Coordinate patient care activities and serve as the highest official on duty within the hospital on an assigned shift or tour of duty. Ensure continuity of patient care services and manage administrative activities in the absence of the President or designated representative. Rotate weekend shifts and maintain on-call availability as required. Requires a Georgia-licensed RN with five years of professional experience and two years of leadership, along with BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
- Five (5) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
- Two (2) years of leadership experience
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Weekend Requirements: Yes- Rotating Basis
- On-Call Requirements: Yes
Desired Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Two (2) years of critical care experience within the last ten (10) years
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
