Job Summary
The House Attendant supports the Housekeeping Management Team by assisting Room Attendants with tasks such as collecting dirty linens, delivering clean linens, and trash retrieval throughout the hotel. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness in areas, responding to guest requests, and delivering lost and found items. Candidates should possess some previous housekeeping experience, be able to lift up to 75 pounds, and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Some previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to frequently stand, bend, climb, kneel, and move about the facility
- Carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 75 pounds
- Will be required to regularly use commercial cleaning chemicals
- Will be required to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Previous background from the extended stay industry preferred
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; other languages beneficial
- Basic reading, writing and mathematical abilities are preferred
