Job Summary
Conduct cleaning and maintenance of public areas, including deep cleaning assigned zones, setting up lobby functions, and managing coffee service and concierge events. Deliver service items to guest rooms upon front desk requests and drive the shuttle van when needed. Provide turndown service, clean and refresh guest rooms, restock supplies, and remove trash and dirty linen. Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed while reporting maintenance repairs immediately. Maintain regular attendance and comply with Avion Hospitality standards for personal appearance, grooming, and safe operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by coworkers and guests
- Must be able to approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Must maintain regular attendance in compliance with Avion Hospitality standards
- Must maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Must comply at all times with Avion Hospitality standards and regulations
- Must be available for evening and overnight hours
- Must be able to drive shuttle van when needed
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
