Job Summary
Buff marble floors daily, shampoo carpets in public areas, and shampoo furniture as needed. Deliver items to guestrooms including express checkout materials and newspapers. Handle luggage assistance requests and manage "Lost and Found" items per hotel standards. Clean guestrooms as needed and maintain hotel equipment in proper working order and storage. Assist in all emergency procedures and complete special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager. Ensure overall guest satisfaction while maintaining assigned areas and equipment cleanliness.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
