Job Summary
Buff marble floors daily, shampoo carpets and furniture in public areas, and clean guestrooms as needed. Deliver items to guestrooms including express checkout and newspapers, handle luggage assistance requests, and manage "Lost and Found" items. Maintain hotel equipment in proper working order and storage, complete special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager, and assist with all emergency procedures. Ensure overall guest satisfaction while standing during the entire shift.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
