Job Summary
Buff marble floors daily, shampoo carpets in public areas and furniture as needed, and clean guestrooms as required. Deliver items to guestrooms including express checkout materials and newspapers, and handle all luggage assistance requests with courtesy. Manage "Lost and Found" items per standards and maintain hotel equipment in proper working order and storage. Complete special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager and assist in all emergency procedures to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
