Job Summary
Buff marble floors daily, shampoo carpets and furniture in public areas and guestrooms as needed, and maintain hotel equipment in proper working order. Deliver items to guestrooms including express checkout materials and newspapers, handle luggage requests with courtesy, and manage Lost and Found items per standards. Assist in emergency procedures and complete special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
