Job Summary
Clean and maintain public areas, including buffing floors, shampooing carpets and furniture, and ensuring restroom maintenance throughout the shift. Deliver service items to guest rooms upon front desk requests, handle luggage assistance, and manage the shuttle van when needed. Remove room service trash from hallways and process lost and found items per standards. Complete daily assignment checklists, turn in keys at shift end, and comply with Aimbridge Hospitality safety regulations. Work weekends as required in a Wichita hotel near Kansas Turnpike and Wichita State University.
Required Qualifications
- Weekend availability
- Valid driver license for the applicable State
- Acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving record)
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
