Job Summary
Conduct thorough cleaning and maintenance of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces. Dust, polish surfaces, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and sanitize fixtures while monitoring carpet cleanliness and addressing spills promptly. Respond to guest requests for amenities, rollaway beds, and room deliveries, and manage the linen chute, stock rooms, and transport dirty linens. Assist housekeeping with deep cleaning projects, furniture moving, and mattress flipping while maintaining a stocked housekeeping cart. Operate cleaning equipment safely, handle chemicals per guidelines, and report maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately using HotSos. Adhere to OSHA standards and manage cleaning supply inventory. Work flexible hours including overnight, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, pull, push, bend, stoop, and lift for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Manual dexterity to operate cleaning equipment and handle supplies
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overnight, weekends and holidays, as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment
